One of the longest standing and most famous franchises is getting a facelift for the second time. Third generation Pokemon titles, Alpha and Sapphire, are getting the X and Y treatment with updated graphics and gameplay. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will be coming later this year and fans are looking forward to playing the remakes.
Megaevolution was introduced in the Pokemon X and Y games and allows trainers to further evolve one of their pokemon for a single battle, creating a near unstoppable force. After obtaining the Mega Ring a trainer can megaevolve any pokemon holding the appropriate stone. While only a limited number of pokemon can actually megaevolve, it still manages to become an integral part of the game.
With the revival of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire comes new megaevolutions with more pokemon possibilities! A new trailer shows off the next megaevolved pokemon, Mega Metagross! Meaner than ever this new megaevolved Metagross will become an unstoppable Psychic/Steel pokemon. The new trailer also shows off redesigned gym leaders and members of the Elite Four, as well as the return of the popular Pokemon Amie.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launches on the 3DS on November 21st, 2014.
