Legendary! That is the one word that is most often used to describe the Jeep Wrangler. With virtually unmatched off-road capability, new safety features, and new tech this 2024 model is going to be tough to beat!

We were invited out to St. George, Utah where we were able to put the new Wrangler through some very thorough and tough testing.

With so many different trim levels and powertrains to choose from, it was difficult to decide which one to focus on. We spent most of our time behind the wheel of the best-selling PHEV in America, the Wrangler 4xe. Power was not lacking at all in this model, and one thing that has drastically changed is the road noise inside the vehicle, especially on 35 inch tires driving down the desert freeways. Having spent many highway hours in Jeeps, this was by far the quietest Wrangler cabin I have ever been in, and it was quite a relief! They have also become even safer with standard first and second row side curtain airbags.

But now its time to talk about the best part of being a Jeep owner, the off-roading!

With front a rear facing cameras to get you through those steeper sections, and an available 8,000 lb. Warn Winch you can get yourself, or your friend, out of just about any situation you find yourself in.

When you arrive to your off-road destination, you can now bring more toys with you thanks to the Dana 44 HD full float rear axle available on select models. This will give a class leading 5,000lbs of towing capacity!

But besides the 4xe, with so many models and endless possibilities for customization, that truly is a Wrangler out there that will match your style. The 2-door sport model starts at $31,895, going all the way up to the 4-door Rubicon 392 that starts at an eye popping $87,595.

We will have a more in depth look at this redesigned 2024 Jeep Wrangler in the near future, but until then, keep it locked right here on MotorWeek!
