About Us
Splatter Paint Fun!
At The Splatter Place you can create splatter painting art, release energy, and have fun throwing paint in safe environment. Each person receives safety goggles, a canvas, paint brush, a paint bomb, and paint for a 25 minute session. Optional plastic poncho, hair, and shoe protection is available purchase as well as a canvas box, and T-shirts in a variety of child and adult sizes.
The paint is UV black light reactive, but does stain, so make sure you wear clothing you don't mind getting paint on.

Pricing
Pricing is $25 per person for 25 minute, splatter painting session.
We can accommodate groups up to 15 in the large room or 5 in the smaller room.
Private Parties
Book your splatter party with us! For $150 you get painting for 6 with eye protection, choice of canvas, paint brush for each, a paint bomb for each, and paint for 25 minutes plus an additional 30 minutes for cake and presents in a separate area with table and chairs. Additional painting participants can be added as well as t-shirts and baseball caps for a truly memorable event!
Ask us about our Adult Group Package which rents the whole venue for your private party ages 21 years and up for your BYOB event.

Secure your front-row seat in the splatter spotlight! For a regular splatter paint session, it is not required to reserve a room ahead of time, but it is strongly encouraged. We will only accommodate walk-ins when space is available. Reserving a room is required for birthday parties and for private events.
Get ready to steal the show, but here's the scoop: we've got ponchos available for purchase to keep you somewhat safe, and we even 'yeeted' (as the kids say) shoe covers out of the equation. Truth bomb – they don't work. We're not into charging for things that won't save your style. So, here's the real deal: wear clothes you're ready to get down and dirty in. Our pros suggest going barefoot or sock-footed on our comfy, thick-matted floor. Pros also admit, short of a wet suit, you're diving into a splash zone. It's all part of the wild ride, so keep it in mind when you book!
Each participant will receive a canvas to paint. We also have t-shirts in various child and adult sizes available for purchase to paint as well as baseball caps. You can also wear items, such as shoes, shorts, pants, hats, and more you wish to paint. Everything you paint will be UV black-light reactive after painting. No changing room is available.
A maximum of 15 can be in the large splatter room at the same time. The smaller splatter room can accommodate a maximum of 5. Only paid participants and staff are allowed in the splatter paint rooms. A responsible adult must be in visible contact with any children at all times.
Gold parties of over 15 people have both rooms reserved.
Our splatter sessions are not just a time frame; they're a heart-pounding, action-packed, non-stop paint war! Brace yourself for 25 minutes of immersive, in-your-face, all-out splatter action. There's no escape—by the end, you'll be gloriously covered. Trust us, after hosting thousands of guests, we know 25 minutes is more than enough to unleash your inner artist and leave you craving more of the ultimate splatter experience!
Yes. The waiver signed during the booking process both when booking online or if you book as a walk-in. This is a splatter paint at your own risk facility.
All people age 12 months and older that are painting count towards group size. Check your booking for the maximum group size. Both rooms can be rented at the same time if they are available.
If you need to bring more people than the booking allows, you can contact us and we may be able to accommodate with sufficient notice.
You may bring themed plates, napkins, and table cloth, as well as a cake. Ice cream is not allowed as we do not have a freezer. We do provide an additional table for presents.
It is always best to do cake/cupcakes/etc and presents prior to painting so that gifts do not get paint on them. Plus, while the paint is non-toxic and can be ingested without harm (just ask our manager, Matt), it doesn't taste the best, so best to do any eating before going into the splatter room.
We strongly suggest to not bring unnecessary items with you. We do have lockers available free for use, but they are first come first serve and we have a limited number available.
Prepare to be amazed at how easily our UV paint washes off!
We have a sink and paper towels for you to use. These are only meant to be used to wash your hands and face. It is NOT intended for a FULL BODY WASH. You will NOT be able to get 100% clean before you leave.
After your 1st wash, the blacklight will still show some paint residue on your skin that you will not be able to see in regular light. This will fade after a couple of washes. If you are concerned, we recommend the use of the shower caps and ponchos we have available for purchase.
Please do not use the 1 bathroom we have for cleaning up. It is not large enough to be a changing room.
All of the paint will wash off your body easily in the shower at your home.
No.
We use a specific paint to ensure that it is non-toxic and reacts to the UV blacklights. Take home boxes are available for $3.50 each so you can transport your wet artwork without it getting on your vehicle.
No. The Splatter Place is a DIY art studio. You are provided the paint and get to create your own splatterific artwork souvenir.
Pre-booked reservations do not share rooms unless you request it. If you were a walk-in and another walk-in comes in, we may suggest for you to share the area, especially if only one room is available at that moment.
A little early or a couple of minutes late is fine. If you have to wait in line to get checked in, don't worry; we won't start your time until you get checked in. If you arrive early to our 1st booking of the day, the doors may not be open until your booking time. If we have a birthday party going on, we do not have any place to sit and wait, although you are welcome to wait in your car until your estimated start time. We have plenty of parking in front and next to the studio.
Fashionably late? Your splatter adventure awaits, and arriving on time ensures you get the full UV magic experience! Remember, if you're fashionably late by more than 10 minutes, we'll likely have to reschedule you for the next available slot (which could be days).
(Note: We don't provide refunds, as once you order, the paint party is prepped and ready for your splatter-tastic moment!)
Each room will be stocked with sufficient paint for the number of people in the party. You will be supplied with cups of paint to use with the paint shooters, a sets of squirt bottles of paint based on the number of people in your party, and 1 paint bomb per person. This is typically more than enough paint, but if you plan on having an all out splatter war of epic proportions, you may want to purchase more. Additional paint and paint bombs can be purchased as well as glitter to finish off your artwork.
The only outside food allowed is non-refrigerated/frozen food that does not require heating for pre-booked birthday parties. Examples are cake, cupcakes, delivered pizza.
Pre-booked parties are also the only ones with reserved seating. A vending machine with snacks and drinks is available.
We are located at 614 E Martintown Rd, Unit C, in North Augusta, SC. Across the street from Krystal Burgers and the Bingo hall, next door to Aishi Steak & Wings (formerly Pizza Hut).
We are 5 minutes from downtown Augusta, 15 minutes from Augusta National Golf Club, and 24 minutes from downtown Aiken.
Please call us at 803-292-4071 during our business hours to reschedule. There are no refunds, only credits towards future sessions. Being more than 10 minutes late for a reserved booking may forfeit your booking without credit or refund.
