Colts' Zaire Franklin on Stefon Diggs trade to Texans: 'We lost the offseason Super Bowl'

Zaire Franklin took notice of reports of the Houston Texans trading for star wide receiver Stefon Diggs on Wednesday.

The Colts linebacker said Indianapolis "lost the offseason Super Bowl."

"I see we lost the offseason Super Bowl again.... better luck next year," Franklin posted on X, obviously tongue in cheek.

The trade gives Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud another weapon. Stroud was picked by the Colts' AFC South rival with the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Indianapolis selected Anthony Richardson two picks later.

In March, the Colts signed Franklin to a three-year extension worth up to $31.3 million.
