Newbie From North Eastern PA

Post by Mikes93F150 »

Just wanted to say hello. My name is Mike and I'm from North Eastern PA near Scranton PA. I have a wife and a 2 1/2 year old Son. I just picked up a 1993 Ford F150 with the 4.9L straight 6 2wd today. This is my first F150. I bought it mainly to haul things when needed. I love hot rods, and muscle cars and I'm always building or working on something so it will be nice to be able to haul an engine/trans to the machine shop with out needing to borrow a friends truck. I'm currently building a 1927 Ford T Bucket. :P

The F150 is in great shape. It has 161,000 miles but runs awesome and drives great. It needs a front bumper and the paint is badly faded but she's a solid truck. I plan on putting new front and rear bumpers and a paint job along with maybe lowering down a bit to make it sit level. I plan on asking lots of questions! Sorry for the book!! LOL :D

Thanks guys!! So far I'm very happy with the truck. I took it to work for the first time today and it drove great! I have a 30min drive each way. The only thing that isn't working good is the radio. The digital read out doesn't work so I have no idea what station it's on. LOL A new radio is the first thing on the list!
