Live reviews

  • The 69 Eyes

Concert was scheduled to start at 8 pm... but no! An opening band played for 45 minutes, then a 15 minute wait for them to remove all their instruments, and then... another opening band playing for about 40 minutes, and 20 more to get their stuff away.

And finally, at around 10 pm, the 69 eyes came out and made the whole wait completely worth it. They played an 18 songs set that included some of their greatest oldies and a few of the new albums hits.

They interacted with the audience in such a cool way that it energizes people to jump and sing the entire time. And they are such great musicians, they sound even better live than they do in the albums.

I couldn’t feel my knees and I’m still walking funny today (hey, I started listening to the 69 eyes when they were still young, too) but I would come see them again... well, I would probably go to the back where they have seats abd you don’t have to fight 18 year old girls for your little personal space, but still.

  • The 69 Eyes are an awesome and cool band, I can only recommand to seing them live. Unfortunately I have only had the pleasure to see them once so far, but totally worth it! They were just super cool with their sunglasses and it was absolutely amazing that they played all the amazing classics like "dance d'amour" or "feel Berlin" but also the new songs I love, like "Borderline".

The set was great, they performed well and made you rock with them. If you ever get the chance to see them, do, you won't regret it! The Helsinki Vampires will not disappoint you. Greetings, Thabea

  • I loved it.It was my first time seeing The 69 Eyes. I went to the meet and greet and gave Jyrki a box of chocolate and he said thank you.Jyrki and Basse are pretty tall.Jussi is my height.

I don't think the audience knew their songs. They were barely dancing Jyrki was. You couldn't hear the audience singing either. I knew just about all their songs and I was dancing with Jyrki. I was so happy they came back on stage like H.I.M. I would totally go see them again.

  • hallo,

The concert was great again. It was also not the first we had seen of the 69 Eyes but never great as always. The music center in Hannover is a super location. The music system was excellent and the staff friendly and nice. I will go to the concerts in the future. But I am also looking forward to the next concerts of the 69 Eyes next year. Just a pity the jussi was sick we were sending him the best recovery wishes

  • The Helsinki vampires rock as hard as they ever did! So blessed to have Pittsburgh as the start of their tour! Had a great time and they picked a great venue to play. Not too tiny but intimate enough for a sellout crowd of fans to jump in the dance pit. Heard Jyrki say they can't wait to come back here, so I hope we don't have to wait another 10 years! A+ show.

  • Ey there, the 69 eyes show was great they were energetic and were plainly having a good time . the only downside was that the clubs soundsystem was so loud it distorted the sound but the band isnt at fault for that. I missed a song in the john so anyone who knows the songlist please let me know???
